Trust in Physician Scale (TPS)

The Trust in Physician Scale (Anderson & Dedrick, 1990) is an 11-item self-report instrument developed to assess an individual's trust in his/her physician. The measure uses a five point scale (1=Strongly Disagree to 5= Strongly Agree).

Translation Information:

The TPS was translated to Spanish by the SETA Study (University of Miami Protocol #20000255) team, Principal Investigator,  Dr. Daniel Feaster.  The translation process consisted of 3 steps:  translation, back translation, and comparison/reconciliation by a third party in consultation with other native speakers as needed.
