Education and Training

The School of Nursing and Health Studies has created a vibrant research training environment for undergraduate and graduate student trainees with faculty who are conducting health disparities research.

PhD students work closely with faculty mentors in their programs of research. Undergraduate students have opportunities for research experiences as volunteers or for course credit. Through our MHRT program, undergraduate and graduate students can have summer research experiences in international settings. Our goal is for trainees to broaden their experience and achieve successes that nurture their drive and aspirations to serve as the NEXT GENERATION of Health Disparities scientists.
