Education and Training

The El Centro Research, Education and Training Core (R-TEC) identifies and provides educational and informational opportunities for students and junior faculty that are aimed at building and nurturing the next generation of health disparities scientists and culturally informed health care providers.

The Research Education and Training Core (R-TEC) provides a wide-range of learning opportunities that draw upon the expertise of faculty across the university, strong partnerships with other academic and community institutions and the diversity of the local and global communities with whom we work. These activities include coursework, research experiences, seminars, lecture and workshops, and post-doctoral fellowships. The R-TEC encourages students, faculty, staff and our partners to learn more about the ongoing activities we provide.
