Perceived Parental Reactions Scale (PPRS)

The Perceived Parental Reactions Scale (Willoughby et al., 2006) is a 32-item measure of the perceived reaction of parents to sexual orientation disclosure by their sons; using a 5-point Likert scale (1= Strongly Disagree, 5=Strongly Agree).

Translation Information:

The PPRS was translated to Spanish by El Centro investigators for the VIDA II study (Protocol #20110031) Principal Investigator, Dr. Joseph De Santis.  The translation process consisted of 3 steps:  translation, back translation, and comparison/reconciliation by a third party in consultation with other native speakers as needed.
