Kebaabetswe's Circumcision Attitudes Questionnaire (KCAQ)

Kebaabetswe's Circumcision Attitudes Questionnaire (KCAQ) is a 6 item measure that includes questions on willingness to circumcise your child, willingness to be circumcised, attitudes towards cultural acceptability of circumcision, opinion on optimal circumcision age and opinion on optimal setting for circumcision (Kebaabetswe et al., 2003).

Translation Information:

The Kebaabetswe’s Circumcision Attitudes Questionnaire was translated to Spanish by the Attitudes about Circumcision Study (University of Miami Protocol # 20080563) team, Principal Investigator Dr. Jose Castro (Miller School of Medicine).  The translation process consisted of 3 steps:  translation, back translation, and comparison/reconciliation by a third party in consultation with other native speakers as needed.
