HITS Tool for Intimate Partner Violence Screening (HITS)

The HITS (Hurt, Insult, Threaten, Scream) intimate partner violence (IPV) screening tool has 4 items that assess the frequency of IPV (Sherin et al., 1998) with responses on a 5 point Likert scale (1=Never, 5=Frequently).
