Brief COPE

The Brief COPE (Carver, 1997) is a 28 item measure used to assess coping response to stress. Responses are rated on a 4-point integer scale ranging from 1 (I didn't do this at all) to 4 (I did this a lot).

Translation Information:

The Brief COPE was translated to Spanish by a team of investigators, including the measure developer, using translation, back translation with native Spanish speakers from several different countries and cultures to create as neutral a translation as possible (Perczek et al, 2000).
