Behavioral Regulation in Exercise Questionnaire-2 (BREQ-2)

The BREQ-2 is a 19 item questionnaire that measures the stages of the self-determination continuum with respect to motivation to exercise with a 5 point Likert scale (0=not true for me, 4=very true for me) and was most recently modified by Markland & Tobin (2004). The version by Markland & Tobin adds an amotivation factor to the original external, introjected, identified and intrinsic regulation factors.
