Translation Information:

The BASH items were taken from the Language Use subscale of the Short Acculturation Scale for Hispanics which was translated to Spanish by the measure developers.  The translation process consisted of 3 steps:  translation, back translation, and comparison/reconciliation by a third party in consultation with other native speakers as needed.
