About the Community Core

The El Centro CEDI Core at the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies is a resource that links evidenced based practices to communities in need of services.  The CEDI Core engages leaders, academic and local community partners in a collaborative effort to improve health.

By working together with partners to meet the aims of increasing health literacy, identifying and implementing evidenced based practices, increasing research capacity, and highlighting partners in the community, the CEDI Core strives to meet the needs of the local community.  The CEDI Core looks forward to collaborative opportunities that bridge and unites students and investigators in addressing the needs of underserved and vulnerable communities.
